A very common question concerns the use of items such as tuners and tape decks which are part of a system but used very little. People will often ask if they can plug such components into the wall or into the amplifier section of the Ultra Wedge in order to reduce the number of isolated outlets they need. As explained in the Isolated Outlets section, doing so will partially defeat the benefits of the isolation. To get the full benefit of the Ultra Wedge, all source components that are interconnected together must be plugged into the appropriate outlets on an Ultra Wedge.
