The Power Link 313 is a 13 gauge cord equipped with a IEC 320 15 amp connector. This is the connector that is used on most audio and video equipment. The Power Link 311 is a 11 gauge cord equipped with the larger IEC 320 20 amp connector. This connector is used on the older Power Wedges and some very large amplifiers. The Power Link 311 cord is also available with the locking Neutrik connector used on the Power Wedge Ultra models. Both types of Power Link feature high quality UL approved plugs and connectors, premium quality Teflon coated dielectrics, and Mil Spec grade silver plated stranded copper conductors. The Power Link is engineered to reduce noise coupling to ground that can occur in other power cords. The Power Link 311 is not available with the IEC 320 15 amp connector. Due to the size of the Power Link 311 it can not be properly terminated inside the smaller 15 amp connector. Standard lengths are 4, 6, and 8 feet for the Power Link 313 and 6 feet for the Power Link 311. Other, custom lengths are available. 2 Feet is the minimum length and 25 feet the maximum. Both models of Power Link are available as a chassis mount with no connector at the end for retrofitting into equipment without IEC connectors. When ordering chassis mount cords, use a "PC" prefix rather than the "PL" designation. The "PC" cords are the same cost as the equivalent Power Link model.
