Making your selection The Ultra Series Power Wedge® 1118 Power Pack Power Conditioners Power Link Power Cords FAQ Get Our Catalog		The increasing popularity of home theater created a demand for a Power Wedge capable of handling very large audio and video systems. As a result we created the Power Wedge 1118. It offers 18 outlets in a variety of configurations: Five switched outlets for amplifiers. Four of these outlets are always controlled by the front panel on/off switch. The fifth outlet can be configured by a rear panel switch to be either controlled by the front panel switch or always on. If your system has a receiver or integrated amplifier with an AC outlet on the rear, it can be plugged into this outlet in the unswitched position and used with the Power Wedge 1118's remote sensing cord. This allows the receiver to turn the entire system on and off.   One 300 watt dedicated isolated outlet for video. This unswitched outlet allow you to isolate your TV from the other components in the system.   Six isolated outlets in a 300 watt switched block. While isolated from the other sections, these outlets are not individually isolated like the isolated outlets in the Ultra Power Wedges.   Six isolated outlets in a 200 watt unswitched block. Since these outlets are always powered this is the section where you would place devices such as VCRs that require constant power for their clocks. Again, this section is isolated from the other sections but does not have internal isolation.   The Power Wedge 1118 comes with a 19 inch rack mount front panel. The front panel features an AC voltage meter and a three position switch (on, off, and remote where the switching is controlled by the remote sensing cord). The outlets are arranged vertically on the rear of the unit. The Power Wedge 1118 comes with a hard wired, six foot, 12 gauge power cord and a power sensing cord to operate the remote turn on feature.
