Just like a power line filter, a well designed power cord helps lower the overall system noise floor which results in the presentation of more detail in the music and picture. Power Links will make the biggest difference when placed on the noisiest pieces of equipment in the system. This means that replacing cords on digital equipment (CD players, DA converters, CD transports, DAT players, LD players, DVD players) should be the first priority. The second priority level would be amplifiers, pre-amps, powered speakers, electro-static speakers, and video equipment.
